Seen a few of these over the years, generally just ignore them and if another agency has the contract advertised apply though them instead

But that said, having seen quite a few of the "contractor CVs'" on the market recently, majority being poorly written load of old permie tosh cannot blame them for trying to get "contractors" to "translate" their CV's

Basically - there are generally 2 attachments - one asking for summary of your skills and a few questions and another that is more admin and personal details. All of which are on the CV?!?!

Its happened twice this week from diff agencies.

I take it that is the "so how long have you used a keyboard for? 2 years? can I put down 3? the client might want 3, I will put down 3, and you have used a monitor for? 2 years?"

    They get told to GTF.

Well don't tell me to just Google.
Google says these are profile sheets:
    http://www.steelroofsheets.co.uk/boxprofilesheeting.htm

but I am none the wiser why an agent would need one, unless he works from a tin office.

You see! We mock agents for knowing nothing about file permissions or scalar references, but there's a whole world of BS in agency land we're totally ignorant of.
