Service Transition Analyst Contract
A new requirement has been made available by our leading telecoms client for a Service Transition Analyst.
The role works within the company projects to ensure that IT operational requirements are in place before the project goes live in the production environments.
You will:
Act on Behalf of IT Service Management to ensure that projects meet pre-defined operational criteria
Be involved in all stages of a project from Start-up, Initiation, through to Implementation
Collate and documents operational support processes related to the delivery of projects into the operational environments
Collate and document operational readiness criteria
Chair Service Transition Workshops
Identify areas for improvement in the project initiation process
Responsible for the effective communication and implementation of all new processes and procedures relating to the delivery of new services into the production environment
Develop close working relationships with Project and Programme Managers as well as other IT Support & Operations disciplines and functions including, Service Delivery, Service Support and operational areas
Take full account of customers' real and perceived needs in the delivery of products and services, ensuring the business impact of both delivery and non-delivery is understood
Deliver all services in line with ITIL principles and framework
We are looking for knowledge of someone with the following:
Service transition analysis within a technical environment ie software/hardware and infrastructure projects (not reactive or helpdesk)
Proven track record in implementing IT projects
Understanding of ITIL/COBIT methodologies
Risk management/mitigation, business impact analysis, countermeasures and contingency arrangements relating to the serious disruption of IT services
Developing and maintaining SLA's with customers
ITIL framework
