    Take a look at your parliamentary constituency boundaries; You might find that the boundaries are different or overlap, meaning you could take up the matter with your local MP, who might right now be lounging with 4 expenses paid escorts watching porn on his 9000 pound flat screen TV.

    A builder wants to build 900 houses on the edge of our town. Residents are not keen, since there are no plans to upgrade any of the infrastructure of the town.

    But we are on the county boundary, and the proposed development is just across in the next county, so it is they who decide (and get the council tax) but we who get the impact.
