    I would have thought that one of the benefits of contracting is that it CAN give you more control over your work life balance.

    Looks like I will get the option of a nice extension on my contract. But I might not take it, choosing instead to take 2 months trekking in Patagonia.
    I work hard, and have put too many hours in during the past, and now I want to enjoy my short existence on this planet!

    Picked up this weekend, which is two weeks earlier than last year did about 4k for the week exc Ebay.

    Should hopefully have paid for all stock,rent etc by second week in November which means the last six weeks trading are all mine, ALL MINE!!!!!!!!

    Do three more years, put everything into the pension (tax free), sell the castle, keep a few hundred grand change, buy the villa in Italy or the South of France, potter about in my little boat, do the odd short-term contract, buy a metal detector and go out treasure hunting, wine, dine and be merry.
