We are looking for a talented software developer in Munich to join our
team, building and supporting the official global site for the FIFA
football world cup.
In this job you will
- scale our site to a projected multibillion-pageviews/month
- deal with internationalization issues
- serve game data in real-time to huge numbers of simultaneous users
- work with demanding clients, and react quickly to take advantage of important
business opportunities.

enthusiasm, and an ability to innovate solutions.
Skills/Qualifications:

+ Required:
- Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related degree
- Strong web site scripting and system automation skills using PHP and Perl
2+ years experience developing web sites
- Java experience is defenitely a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must as this position
- English-skills must be excellent!
- German-skills must be excellent!
+ Desired
- Experience developing on FreeBSD or on another UNIX would be a plus
- Good SQL expertise, preferably with MySQL
