I read somewhere that the beeb also pay that Nick Knowles a million a year - so a million a year to do that crappy DIY SOS. I suppose all that fake banter doesn't come for free.

Jonathan Ross and Graham Norton only to be paid a stupid amount of money

Wossy could see his £6million salary as much as halved when his contract runs out at the end of the year.

As the Beeb looks to make savings Norton, 46 – whose three-year deal worth £7.4million also ends this year – has already said he is willing to take a pay cut.
