My mate ran something like this at Uni.

He took on coding jobs and then handed out the assignments to Uni students who finished the work. Generally they did 8 hours a week for say £100.

The problem was that so much time and effort went into chasing/examining the work that it was easier for him to do himself. Even simple functions that they wanted came back either wrong or not in the format they required.

Nice idea I don't think it'll take off. The overheads for companies would be massive.

Looks a sound idea and i'll maybe give it a whirl for one of my Plan B's.

Think they need to hire someone to look at their own site though - try hitting 'Find Work' at the top and then a 'Narrow by Category' option on the left. Not very good.

Oh dear - too much exposure and poor infrastructure I believe. It had a piece on News24 the other day if I remember?

Should have a few more servers with the 1000s on the bench at the moment.

Seems rather improper to publish someone's full proposal when bidding for a project.

started a topic People Per Hour site

    People Per Hour site

    www.peopleperhour.com

Great idea or will never take off?

Will it just get flooded with freelancers fighting for the work?

Looks like the site is overloaded at the moment...maybe a good sign.
