    I had the wrong date of birth printed on my passport a few years ago too. Simple typo by the passport office, but I had to send the passport back with my birth certificate to get it corrected as the typo was automatically assumed to be correct.

    That sort of thing is one of the big reasons I am against ID cards - it will be chaos.

    Another round of incompetance and lies highlighted. People with the wrong photo and someone else's identity from the agency that doesn't make errors.

    I am so looking forward to ID cards.
