Load of bollux. Incoming MPs would have snouts in trough as much as previous lot.

What is needed is a referendum on the size of MPs' salaries. Before the next election so those who stand know what they are standing for.

Nurses get small salaries partly so they get nurses who do it for the job not the money. We need MPs with similar standards.

Does anyone know who the sun will support at the election? Will they support Brown if he declares an election now?

The voters vote for whoever the sun tells them to.

The Sun demands early general election

THE SUN today calls on Gordon Brown to ask the Queen to dissolve Parliament and hold a general election — so politics can be rid of its sleaze-ridden MPs once and for all.

If he does do as instructed he may, just, get away with his life.
