Popcorn Hour - that's what you need.

Plays pretty much anything, has an FTP server built-in, bitTorrent client, and HDMI output.

They’re bloody expensive considering what's inside, why not get an Xbox or PS3 as they can act as media hubs? I'm currently using my Xbox to catch up on 'The Wire' episodes I downloaded since Sky+ failed on 2 recordings.
