    thinking about the flu epidemic, seems that the south americans were very susceptible to flu viruses etc when the spanish invaded, possibly they still have less natural immunity to flu than rest of world, hence deaths there and no where else YET

    Michael O'Leary, the boss of Ryanair which does not operate flights to Mexico, played down the danger to travellers.

    "It is a tragedy only for people living... in slums in Asia or Mexico, but will the honeymoon couple from Edinburgh die? No," he said.

    He added that "a couple of Strepsils will do the job".
    About a tenner each onboard I imagine....
