Interesting observation that Mich. I don't think we're quite there yet with the green shoots of recovery but once the ClientCos start stampeding things will certainly get interesting.Originally posted by Mich the Tester View Post
I think some of the big ClientCos went over the top with their clear outs at the beginning of the year and now need to hire again.

The market is tulip, the people we have to deal with are *******, I ******* hate this game now.
That happened to me last week as well. Looking at jobs on various websites, it really is dead in my area.

I hear you on that one. I've suffered this kind of thing recently too. Open a cold one this evening and forget about it for the weekend.Originally posted by gingerjedi View PostFFS!!!!!!!

I saw one role advertised by an early bird agent at 4:30am.
Applied for it at 10am, called them up at 11am.
Flippin job had already gone to someone else

I had my contract confirmed on monday, signed on tuesday and started wednesday. Tuesday afternoon I had 3 phone calls offering me testing jobs, one without interview as they already knew me.
I think some of the big ClientCos went over the top with their clear outs at the beginning of the year and now need to hire again.

Phone has been ringing off the hook this afternoon.
All complete mismatch roles and crap rates so far, but lots of phone calls are a better sign than no calls at all.

Good sign I suppose if PMs are being taken on.
