Isn't this how alot of companies develop leads through personal contacts etc?
I've worked with a few senior managers that were involved in sales stuff, it it seemed to me having good contacts was one of the reasons they were hired and were succesfull in securing new contracts. They also got paid good money for the pleasure.

presumably, all this advert means is...
"when you get a call about a job, phone us and tell us all about it. Then if we manage to blag our way there as a result we'll give you a backhander"
which happens anyway.

I posted a similar ad a while back, Dodgy Agent seems to think that Tiger are reputable, but the "role" stinks to me of a network and contacts pillaging exercise with the appointees providing their own accomodation and facilities.
