My wife went to St Mary's Uni - they have a version of that song. It's quite dirty.Originally posted by EternalOptimist View Posttrench songs - not by Gracie
I don't want to join the army,
I don't want to go to war.
I'd rather hang around Piccadilly underground.
Living off the earnings of a lady whore.
I don't want a bayonet in my belly,
I don't want my bollocks shot away.
I'd rather stay in England, in merry, merry England,
And fornicate this fkng life away

oh,oh-oh,oh,oh-oh-ohh...
I found my self humming 'Wish Me Luck (As You Wave Me Goodbye)' today. Is it a great song or a symptom? I especially like the bit where she goes oh,oh-oh,oh,oh-oh-ah (40 seconds in), and I think singing along with Gracie Fields would be really ace. I bet she is dead now though.
