I got depressed when my fiance left me. I used to take looooong walk by the canal side. Not talk to anyone for weeks, I even called in sick to work a few times. Boy those were tough days.
Now I have an abrasive wife who has severe OCD and is almost impossible to live with. How I'd like to be single and depressed.

Then we need a depression. In a depression the rich are bought down to the level of the poor.

I went to the local woodyard and got half a dozen offcuts and put book shelves all over the flat.
When I finally moved , I had to leave hundreds n hundreds behind.
I read every one of those suckers at least three times

It's the rich what gets the gravy
It's the poor what gets the blame
The only time I have been close to depression was about six years into a 10 year stint on the dole about 25 years ago.
I remember sitting in an icy flat watching the adverts on the telly and thinking 'This one doesnt apply to me.That one doesnt apply to me.That one doesnt apply to me.This one doesnt apply to me.That one doesnt apply to me.'
Soul destroying is about right
