SDR consists of dollar, euro, pound and yen. Any country with half a brain already used primarily dollar and euro as reserve currencies that hedged big risks, with some pounds/yen for trade. Needless to say that UK has not got meaningful foreign currency reserves?

G20 outcome - good or bad?
I see the bignobs appear to be claiming to have pulled a rabbit out of the hat at the G20 summit.
Looking at the detail available thus far, this spells the end of the dollar as the reserve currency within 10 years, and possibly sooner. China has attached moving toward the adoption of the SDR as the standard reserve currency ahead of the dollar as a precondition to releasing funds for the IMF...as well as the more visable removal of the idea that the head of the IMF alternates between the USA and Europe.
