Things are bad when they allow the likes of Wilmslow into our lovely capital and stay at 4* hotels. I am so glad I don't go that far down market.

We are going by train to Euston.
Thinking about the Euston Travelodge, but thinking about 4* standard in the city centre – any ideas?
Must be very central.
I assume you already have an agenda on where you want to go in London, etc?

for 4*, durrants is great, and much more intresting / quirky than the average megachain. Just off Marylebone high street, so amongst much posh 30 something totty.

City Inn Westminster - if that's where you mean by "central". Around £90/night. Clean and comfortable.
