    Second that - its a nice pub. Not overly busy.

    The perseverence I mentioned earlier is v low key and quiet for a good chat.

    Thanks to all! I will take a look at the suggestions over the weekend but has anyone been to any of these? The Princess Louise looked good on paper but when I got there it was way too noisy!!

    Have you tried Threadneedle Street. Nowhere near Holborn, but its a riot.

    Looking for a venue in London to hold a "get together". A venue where a few folks can get together and can chat with a pint in their hands. Ideal area is Holborn but open to others as long as they are easy to get to.

    Tried the Princess Louise in Holborn last night and although its a good pub it was way too noisy for conversation!!
