The problem with price comparison websites, that purport to get you the best quote, is that I feel they are not all-encompassing enough.
There's always that nagging doubt that :
a) They are only representing a small sample of price offers (based on their Clients)
b) They are not impartial. They only promote their member's interests.
c) They "pretend" to offer you a good deal, but that "deal" is limited to a small group of advertisers. What about old Fred down the road, who runs his own business ? Why are his prices not on there ?
Does anyone really use these sorts of sites ?

What I find most amusing is snotty nosed young contractors who fix the clients problem on day 1, tell them all about it, and then wonder why they're terminated.

Web space and domain name reselling spring to mind, but everyone and his grandma is doing this. My question is, is this (domian and web space reselling) an avenue worth pursuing, do the profits make it worth it? I'm looking for war stories and success stories alike.
The price comparison idea is interesting, but again how do you find out about the web services you would need to connect to? Google returns nothing so I may be searching using the wrong search string or this information is locked away and I need the key.

I would say it was an easy question......... and the answer was pretty simple as well.......

i wouldn't say it's money for old rope, designing a nice bells and whistles website is the easy bit. the hard bit is getting people to know about it, getting them to use it, and getting the insurance companies interested.
It's not just about being a techie. IMHO that market (meerkat?) is saturated and you are a couple of years too late.
