I had one leave a message on my voicemail saying that he noticed on my linkedin status that I had started a new contract and asked if I would ring him back to tell him where it was.

Had a discussion with client the other week re renewal. They tell me, due to market conditions we can't discuss a rate rise. Fair one I say, I'll let it go this time. He also tells me they are renegotiating with their agencies.
So, a week later agent rings and tells me 'good news, the client wants to renew, although they have asked you to take a 10% rate cut, what do you think?'
Needless to say, we had a short discussion.
Pimps, gotta love em...
