I think Everton did well against Liverpool given that they have no forwards to speak of due to injuries - had it not been for a mistake by Tim Howard then Liverpool would have been out now as they didn't look like scoring before their goal or after it.

It's funny, because there was nothing Royal Blue about the Mersey. It was grey and you could walk on it.
Manys the time we used to race the ferry across to Birkenhead.

    1. Saha - injury prone and useless
    2. Vaughan - what has he ever done
    3. Yak - fair point, but you need to be able to cope without front line striker, I seem to recal the mighty reds doing that against chelsea and man u
    4. Fellaini - he's just tall - end of.

Arteta is quality and too good for a small team. When he's old what medal will he be able to show his kids ?

    Who?

Gerrard also does all the rescuing with goals in tight games.

I remember my dad standing on his head in front of the telly. Got carried away sometimes , my dad did.

Ah yes, Mike Treble Cock's final. Wins the FA Cup and is never heard of again, like West Ham's Alan Taylor, Southampton's Bobby Stokes and Ipswich's Roger Osborne. They were the good old days, when heroes could disappear in the blink of an eye.

Maybe not. Now winning from 3-0 down in a final, against AC Milan, that's been done.....
