This town, is coming like a ghost town
All the clubs have been closed down
This place, is coming like a ghost town
Bands won't play no more
too much fighting on the dance floor
Do you remember the good old days
Before the ghost town?
We danced and sang,
And the music played inna de boomtown
This town, is coming like a ghost town
Why must the youth fight against themselves?
Government leaving the youth on the shelf
This place, is coming like a ghost town
No job to be found in this country
Can't go on no more
The people getting angry

As long as I've got work....I'm not bothered. i've got plenty in the bank...unlike said companies. If it comes to it I'll just starting doing networking and setups and virus scanning for a fiver to survive.

Are the BBC doing a daily Job-Losses feature on the news, like they did in the 1980s?

JCB just announced another 684 jobs to go
A search for UK job losses to date shows that only Stormfront appears to be keeping a tally..must be biding their time

I got my sofa from Sofa Workshop, long lead time of 10 weeks because the poles were shutting the factory for Easter, but good service and outstanding quality. Shame as they had smaller friendlier store fronts throughout london.

What the media is not telling you is that trouble began soon after they chose the now controversial Bank of Antartica for offshore purporses - little did they suspect Bank of Antartica was managed by an Eskimo and Two Penguins - they could not stand the meltdown and the Eskimo , nor the penguins - are taking any calls as to the status of their frozen account.Last edited by AlfredJPruffock; 12 January 2009, 13:43.

Well, when was the last time you popped out for a Crispy Pancake?
It's a shame because the North East needs every job it's got at the minute.
