Just the 128mb MDA Touch on T-Mobile. A nice looking, thin phone horribly let down by a terrible OS.

Erasing all my contacts (TWICE!) is inexcusable. *harrumph*

What about the Sony Ericsson X1?

It's made by HTC (so I was told) and has the 'Windows' operating system. I was eyeing one up the other day. Anyone tried it?

I had the Touch, not the pro and frankly, what a POS. The windows OS is terrible, slow, clunky, badly thought out. Screen elements are so small that they require almost constant use of the stylus, and I don't have particularly big fingers.

The hardware looks great, and the Touch feels really nice in your hand, it is sadly let down by a turgid operating system. After using the Touch for a month, losing my contacts several times for no apparent reason and almost chucking it in the Clyde in despair , I bought a Palm Centro outright. That does everything I want with little or no lag between functions.

When do you need it? The Palm Pre looks fantastic but it isn't out until second half of 2009. I really can't wait for that phone to come out.

Either of you tried the Touch Pro? I had a play with a Diamond a while back, but I'd be interested to hear of any experiences with the Pro.
