    Well according to Brown's biographer

there was no promise from Blair about Gordon being given the premiership, but it was a useful lie put about by his supporters. And frankly anyone who believes anything Blair says is a lot more gullible than Brown.
Gordon may be a thieving lying communist social-engineering bastard but I suspect that even he believes nothing Tony says.

Apparently the new deal between these two frauds is that Blair will hand over nice 'n easy to Brown in exchange for Brown continuing with Blair's vision.

Given Brown believes (probably rightly) that Blair broke every promise made to him previously regarding handing over the PM job, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Brown did the same to Blair ... and 'forgets' to continue with 'New Labour'.

Brown will allow Labour to gravitate much further to the left. They'll reclaim their true clothing and relinquish control of the centre ground.

    Oh tulip, we're doomed

    FROM BBC NEWS

"Gordon Brown is set to use his keynote conference speech to insist the party fights the next election as New Labour.
The chancellor will call for a home-owning, share-owning democracy. "

Given his propensity for bare-faced lies, can we expect to see private ownership of anything at all become a criminal offence? Property is theft, as the left-leading-loonies would have it.
