Those figures are a percentage of jobs. So if they saw 100 jobs one week and XML was in one of those ads then it would have a score of 1. If the next week they saw 2 out of 100 jobs had XML in it then they would assign a score of 2 and would appear to rise. Using this to show the health of the marketplace is worthless as it does not show salary levels or the overall volume of jobs. We most certainly are in a recession, you are just looking in the wrong place to observe the fallout.
