    I saw Tom once drinking whisky in the Nags Head in Manchester city centre in the 90's.

    Ecclestone was my favourite, helped by being a good actor!

    It does help I suppose that I'm a sneering bolshy northerner

    This new kid is far too young.... it'll look like Buffy the Dalek slayer

    (anyone would think they made this programme for kids )

    IIRC, the Master only has a couple left (if any) and was plotting to steal some of the Doctor's regenerations.

    Apparently only 12 regens..... but I can't see that stopping a money making machine - if its still popular he (sic) will get regenned again and again...

    I always thought that when the Time Lords regenerate, they always got younger (and that there were only so many regenerations that they could go through).

    Certainly, that was the rule for the first 6, anyway.
