I am not optimistic that many of them will get what they deserve - Lehman however are very exposed like Enron now and it seems clear that they failed to wind it up in orderly fashion which cost creditors a lot of money - there seems to be a very solid case that they failed in their legal duties are directors there, plus bankrupcy is a factual thing - it did happen and they were the people who signed stuff.

I expect many others to get away with it however.

Like George W Bush? Really high academic standards, those MBAs

The good news I think is that their management will be going to jail - there seems to be a pretty clear case for criminal negligence in running the bank.
I hope you're right on that last bit.

FFS: 900,000 derivatives they had - ****ing things worth hundreds of billions of dollars and they called themselves a bank?

I don’t believe it’s just one stupid motherf**ker. This level of organised incompetence requires alliances, footsoldiers and compentent people who are prepared to turn a blind eye.

one of the senior region heads apparently threw him across the toilets for a severe pasting but it got stopped by one of the guys that walked in.

There were a number that wanted to totally fill him in but during the last weeks he never turned up at the HQ.

Def will be a film or book about this guy as all this is just the tip of the iceberg so to speak.

    - he never liked people below a certain level to look at him in meetings
    - he was always right
    - he had the opportunity to save Lehmans upto 10 days before it went tits up but was holding out for more money - which wasnt going to come

I wish someone would just kneecap him in the desert and put a glass of water 2 miles away and then snap his elbows and put it on Pay Per View to watch.

Man is a disgusting example of what humans have become
Apparently some bloke smacked him in the company gym.
