There again the UK gov could buy my Child Support Support System for £500 mil, but it appears they'd rather waste money.
Couldn't agree more Threaded - who's going to look after all the money grabbing chavs when everybody else has gone? Anyone remember Mad Max?

If you haven't got the contract Threaded it's your own fault - grease a few palms, kiss Bliar's bottom and convert to Islam - you'll be fine

Most people in the pro-immigration lobby seem to see immigrant communities, and immigrants themselves, as no more than an adornment to British society and their presence a living testament to those peoples' PC values, mascots almost, as one might think of hedgehogs living at the bottom of the garden being proof of one's right-thinking green outlook.

In a way that's more patronising and insulting than many racists, who at least don't take immigrants' gratitude and acquiescence of Western ways for granted, apart from a few quaint ethnic customs, and aren't surprised when the immigrants prefer their own traditions (which are often more sound than soppy socialist Western attitudes).

That's the million dollar question saggy cat. You have to have a reasonable balance and we haven't got it. Newly qualified doctors are having hell and all trouble finding a job because so many doctors have been recruited from overseas. You also have to consider how many immigrants are of financial benefit to the country - it costs us enough to support our own home grown layabouts without supporting other peoples as well. At least most UK expats take a certain wealth with them which will be of benefit to their adopted country

We could use some of the umemployed but we still wouldn't have enough.
The only soulution is to up the TFR (total fertillity rate) until then we will always need immigrants.

More evidence of the New Lies obsession with Social Engineering experiments. They are keen to change the voting profile of Britain. Millions of people, inc immigrants dependant on the state, voting Labour to ensure the continued free handouts, keeping the Blair and co in a permenant state of power.

Another part of the problem is the aggresive nature of the migrant population insisting that their prejudices are observed whilst ignoring our own against them.
The "You cnat do that to us" attitude that has come with some of these people is appaling and with ever more bleeding hearts and artists saying "poor loves" it gets ever harder to have an integrated society.

Like I said before if they dont like something, but that something is perfectly legal, then they should shut up or ship out.

In many cases their ghettos and poverty are of their own making.

When I was 7 we lived in Holland. We had to have Dutch lessons and all our lessons were given in Dutch - although the teacher could speak English and would help me and my sister out.

I was once told off for speaking English to my sister during school time as it was not practicing my Dutch.

I have not met the resident communities in Spain or any other country for that matter. Most Brits I have met have been migratory, not permanently resident. Those who regard themselves as the later have to a man learned the lingo and joined in the local community.
I dont realy mind the not learning the lingo and the not fitting in bit, that is the look out of the individual.
What I object to is an insistance on changing local law to suit the incomer, or the generation of "no go" areas for locals and police alike. Something I have never witnessed outside the UK.
