I went back to the Doctor
To get another shrink
He said
'Alf tell me about your weekend...'
But he never betrays what he thinks
Can you see the Real Me - Doctor ?
I went back to my Mother
I said "'Im crazy Ma - help me"'
She said
" Ï know how it feels son
cos it runs in the family "
The girl I used to Love
Lives in that yellow house
Yesterday she passed me by
She doesnt want to know me know
Can you see

I know - but dont be sad no-one gets out of here alive - my goodness Alf is bigger and better than ever and Im off to the works Xmas party tonight !
I look at my watch it says sixteen o five - I think - thank God I'm still alive !
We should be on by now.
Life's too short to be sad
Wishing things- you'll never have
Youre better off - not thinking of the things you missed
Dreams are always ending far too soon
Sounds of a distant melody, once played, lost from memory
Funny how it's clearer now, you're close to me
We'll be together all the time
You are a little bit bonkers.

Although they seemed quite similar to sprouts I liked them a lot more, and have loved them ever since.
But if I'd known then what I know today about the EU they'd never have got away with it!
