Look at already existing court decisions on torture and murder of civilians in Chechnya by Russian army - I think over 50 minimum and he was the guy who called publicly to "whack terrorists in the toilet", he is a war criminal - he got plenty of people who sworn blood vendetta on him, if he loses his bodyguards and state immunity he won't be able to travel around the world and will most likely get killed by his own buddies who'd prefer to use him as excuse for everything - basically blame everything on him like they did with Stalin.
-
Interesting perspective - what do you mean he is up to it in blood? What would stop him just turning his back and walking away?Originally posted by AtW View PostThey can't survive if Russia was democratic, however it isn't and they can survive just by being more dictatorial - it happened already in history of Russia and likely to happen again - Putin is in blood up to his neck, he can't leave power because otherwise he is personally screwed, that's why they changed constitution now to have 6 years presidential terms for him to get 2 more at least. I'd say it is illegal power take over but they already did that years ago.

They know that with oil where it is now - they are screwed! With there stockmarkets at near all time lows funny how they now shut up?
Iran the same - big issues there - they need I beleive Oil to be over 80$ if I recall - below that and there in dire straits!

The ruble (russian currency) is on a verge of serious devaluation so his words are doubly laughable considering that and a few other things.
