Radio 4 is nice, but is it not them who also have "Little Britain" bulltulip?
They did it first on Radio 4, yes - it used to be quite amusing. When it went to TV, they just took the same radio scripts and put in about three new "sketches" a series.
So, the Beeb should employ the also-rans at £50 per day? Great! Then ITV get all the good folk and still pump out Frost and Celebrity-infested cheapo chav fodder.
Those of us that have served in HM Forces have done so!
Btw, would you like to run a straw-poll on the number of ex-military there are on this forum? I think you'd be surprised. But hey, don't let facts get in the way of you talking bollocks.
I wouldn't be surprised. I think there are a lot of ex-military in contracting and recruiting. Probably because they come out with a confident, can-do attitude, which is much more important for success than actually being able to do.
You can say the same about high wages (no, these are commercial salaries actually) in any sphere or organisation. It's just jealousy. In a recent survey Joe 'Thicko' Public thought that £62k was a good salary for a top international football player. That's £62k a year, not a week!!

I don't know, I've not seen a whole episode of "Little Britain" on TV, let alone heard it on radio. On a related note, I was channel hopping last night and those two happened to be on (don't know their names, the fat one and the one that swam the channel) and they were made-up as body builders. I was amazed to see at how realistic their body suits were, or whatever was used. Anyone else see it and know how it was done? Body doubles?
