    There's also a West / East divide with people getting progressively more stupid, bigoted and in-bred from around the Pennines Eastward.

    Explains a lot about the South-East really.

    Well as a Scot from Hamilton, I once worked in the Shetland Islands where I was refered to, somewhat disparingly as a "Sooth Moother" ie Southern Mouth.
