    WTF

Where did I say Mandelson should be left alone? He should be rolled up in a carpet, secured with cable ties and pushed off the back of that Russian geezer's yacht IMHO. I'd still like to know what Osborne thinks he's doing hanging around with the slimy git though. I didn't say there should be an enquiry - as usual you are assuming, on the basis of zero evidence, that I'm following El Gordo's line on this, which I'm not.

Osborne didn't get the cash in any case and it looks to me like he's being stitched up by someone he thought was a pal, but he's showing very poor judgement hanging around with Mandy. As the opinion bit it the Torygraph said, he should have been studying his brief as shadow, not mucking about with dubious characters on yachts.

All MPs socialise so I don't see what you are getting at.

I want to know who made millions out of these share trades on HBOS etc but people like yourself are falling for the diversionary spin tactics from Labour.

Interesting that Robert Peston has been mentioned alongside the rumour-monger and friend, sub-Billionaire Nat Rothschild. As we know, Peston has been the conduit for banking rumours and some unsavoury characters have cleaned up on the Stock Market in the minutes before Peston's announcements. This is what should be investigated!!

Media control? Of the Torygraph? - I think they've been putting something in your tea.

I've never believed Labour figures ever since they double or triple-counted investment in the NHS. For example, if they put 20 Billion in 3 years ago, they would say that is 20 Billion every year which is 60 Billion, when in fact it was the same 20 Billion.

Public trust in crime statistics has been dealt a devastating blow after ministers admitted the figures have been downplaying serious violence for up to a decade. etc.
Like the figures weren't massaged to death anyway! F--k knows the REAL numbers. I suspect a good 30% higher.

By the way, anyone else a bit dismayed and angered at the Met's new adverts on the Tube?

In sum: don't bother ringing 999 unless the crime's in-progress. If you're car's been nicked, or if your house has been screwed, dial this other (national rate!) number, instead! Must brush-up on my French...
