  • Message to New Labour - Spending your way out of a recession

    Dear NL,

    Just one small point. Spending money to ease a recession is a great idea, when you have build up the money during the recent (credit fuelled) boom, through careful fiscal management, foresight and sound investment.

    Spending even more money you don't have now just makes things worse in the future.
