It's probably more interesting exploring Tina's Fissure than climbing Brown Willy.Originally posted by PRC1964 View PostThat particular rock is not as solid as is made out.
It's full of holes: http://www.aboutourrock.com/caves.htm I like the list of caves at the end of that page. The cave names are great. I'm particularly interested in "TINA'S FISSURE".

My mate's brother's former roomie from University once bumped into Gordon Brown's driver, and he said that he's heard the opposite.Originally posted by Bob Dalek View PostI heard the same rumour, in the pub. Guaranteed 100% fact.
Now I just don't know who to believe.

It was undergoing a run due to HMG leaking rumours to the BBC. Break-up value would have been considerable, even if no HMG funding was forthcoming. The fact that 15 Billion of debt has been paid off in 9 months says it all. I await the Judicial Review in January with great interest !!

It is only fair after all.

What do the Spanish and the monkeys have to say about this?Originally posted by Cyberman View Post....that the Rock will be returned to the private sector next year. Perhaps GB & AD have at last realised that HMG made a big mistake.
