    In the absence of advice to the contrary I regrettably must conclude that like almost everything else in our shabby tulipehole of a capital, there is no courtesy or decency and the answer is just to do as the others do and push people out of the way. Fortunately as I am bigger than most people this should work OK for me, but it goes against the grain.

    excluding airport buses from terminal to plane (and vice versa) I can't remember the last time I took a bus anywhere
