    They're not necessarily panic sellers. I saw a list of UK companies that the Icelandics are invested in and it is quite extraordinary and big percentages. These businessmen are now being forced to sell due to circumstances at home, just to liquidate assets to pay debts. Such companies include Woolworths and Debenhams, House of Fraser, Hamleys and of course West Ham FC.

    I recommend against jumping in front of a train since it screws up so many other people, particulalry the driver.

    They are 'bargains' for a reason. Stay clear !! Liquidity is dry, we are entering a long recession witha dithering HMG, and some of these companies may not exist in a year or so.
