    No doubt that when the politicians retire with their back-handers and the banking directors are hibernating in Monaco with their embezzled millions the US and UK will start printing money to pay off the debt. The resulting inflation will of course be blamed on the general public for living extravagantly beyond their means and careless with their spending.

    The clock's owners say two more zeros will be added, allowing the clock to record a quadrillion dollars of debt.

    How much additional debt will this upgrade cost - will EDS or Harlilburton be awarded the contract ?
