Read in one of the Tube s**t sheets this morning that the moronic Welfare officer Jennie Killip takes issue with "political correctness gone mad":
Interviewer: Is this political correctness gone mad?
JK: I think “political correctness gone mad” is in itself an un-politically-correct term […]
I: Why?
JK: Because using the term ‘mad’ in a derogatory fashion is, er, disablist
The tw@t.

My most memorable essay question:
A mate of mine did Humanities there (guffaw, etc.) and here's what he was supposed to do 5000 words on:
"Can a chair turn into a crocodile?"
It certainly trumped my organic chemistry assignments!!
He ended up up doing Philosophy elsewhere and has never found a job in his life. Still, as another mate of mine said, "At least he can be philosophical about it!".

Have any of you watched the video? Who the hell (other than a council) is going to employ the lemming on there? I like the line that 'political correctness gone mad' is not pc as it uses mad in a derogatory way. Since when was being mad seen as being a good thing? Some things in life are bad. If you speak to parents of a new born child about their aspirations for the sprog, how many say they would like thier little cherub to grow up with a fixation about knives and spend their days rocking and licking windows. None because being mad is a bad thing!
I'm off to a gig at Manchester Uni in a few weeks. I can tell you know that I'm going to define myself as a woman trapped in the body of a man for that night only. It's not my fault that I have this gubbins between my legs. Perhaps when I go to the non gender specific bog I'll attempt to remove the offending item by vigorously trying to pull it off - if any fellow female students want to lend a hand then I'm well up for that - so long as she is not a munter like the lemming in the video!

Talking of political correctness, I think these people would be offended if they realised that ferret was automatically labelling them "prats" on here.

I defend the rights of the people of Nork (borough of Reigate) against Ferret's fascist censorship regime. Freedom for Nork!

Welfare officer Jennie Killip told the BBC: "If you were born female, still present quite feminine, but define as a man you should be able to go into the men's toilets - if that's how you define."
FRANCIS: Yeah. I think Judith's point of view is very valid, Reg, provided the Movement never forgets that it is the inalienable right of every man--
STAN: Or woman.
FRANCIS: Or woman... to rid himself--
STAN: Or herself.
FRANCIS: Or herself.
REG: Agreed.
FRANCIS: Thank you, brother.
STAN: Or sister.
FRANCIS: Or sister. Where was I?
REG: I think you'd finished.
FRANCIS: Oh. Right.
REG: Furthermore, it is the birthright of every man--
STAN: Or woman.
REG: Why don't you shut up about women, Stan. You're putting us off.
STAN: Women have a perfect right to play a part in our movement, Reg.
FRANCIS: Why are you always on about women, Stan?
STAN: I want to be one.
REG: What?
STAN: I want to be a woman. From now on, I want you all to call me
'Loretta'.
REG: What?!
LORETTA: It's my right as a man.
JUDITH: Well, why do you want to be Loretta, Stan?
LORETTA: I want to have babies.
REG: You want to have babies?!
LORETTA: It's every man's right to have babies if he wants them.
REG: But... you can't have babies.
LORETTA: Don't you oppress me.
REG: I'm not oppressing you, Stan. You haven't got a womb! Where's the foetus going to gestate?! You going to keep it in a box?!

I remember with hatred and disgust the few students' union meetings I attended at Hatfield Poly back in the 80s: a maggot-infested corpse of a lash-up it all was, with numerous cliques, whose purpose in life was to create problems wherever they'd never existed before, only to offer up a Leftie and trashy "solution" (with a price tag, always a price tag), thus furthering their journey to New Labour-ism and CV padding. That Manchester Uni is also firmly in the grip of this sort of fabulous dross is, sadly, no surprise.

"You don't necessarily have had to have gender reassignment surgery, but you could just define yourself as a man, feel very masculine in yourself, feel that in fact being a woman is not who you are."
A scrap heap of poor English and poorer trite PC toss.
