There is a cartoon on page 30 of yesterday's Spectator with which you will sympathise.

I read that as PReston. I thought Wilmslow might have created a new alter-ego to reflect his new location.

He is extremely irritating and nausea-inducing with his smugness and pseudo- speech impediment, and I am sure he shares a major chunk of responsibility for the run on Northern Rock with his panic-inducing reporting after the 'leak' from the BofE.

Maybe he's got a brain tumor that's just about to burst. In the meantime, can't they find him an autocue ffs.

Does anyone else get irritated by Peston?
Robert Peston on the BBC winds me up. He ALWAYS .... talks....with DRAMATIC pauses....and OVERemphaSIS on the.....wrong part OF.....the SENtence.
Plus he's always whining about how how he doesn't have any information because no one tells him anything, so he's generally just spouting conjecture with little basis in fact.
Rant over.
p.s. Cue someone starting a "Does anyone else get irritated by Pesto?" threadTags: None
