Come on then, let's see this little piece of squirrel heaven. Max avatar size is now 80kb. I know that this is no longer the 90's and not many people will be hitting this site using a 56k modem but keeping page sizes down is still a consideration as people do view this site from mobile gadgets.
If you do find page sizes too large avatars can always be turned off in the user control panel.
