As mentioned on another thread, for the UK Hargreaves Lansdown are OK. The dealing costs for 10p deals are very reasonable to. Best thing about HL is their SIPP, but you can also handle individual shares and ISAs there.

I turned 10p into £45,000 in a matter of minutes, all whilst sipping coffee and browsing the web.
Shares, it's the future.
