"Credit Crunch" FFS!! Where did this annoying piece of alliterative jargon come from?

It's called a 'recession' or at very least a 'economic downturn'. Is this some NL piece of spin to subliminally point the finger away from the government, towards the man in the street who has incurred the need for the 'credit'?

10% increase for 1 month renewal (end of project)

They umm'd & arr'd "nobody else asked for more" but changed thier mind when I said I'd walk at the end of the current contract if they didnt put in the increase.

    Happy all round

I don't pay a great deal of attention to prices of fruit and egetables*, but I thought Bananas at 77p per kilo looked like pretty good value. The edible part probably weighs significantly less than you pay for though. Bit of a rip-off on packaging are bananas. Surely there's a law against that kind of thing? Speaking of which has anyone seen jif pancake mix (it may not be called jif, but something similar) sold in those ketchup shaped bottles. The bottles are less than a third full of mix! Not that I've bought any.

Or whatever a banana tree is called.
