Just because the Old Trafford address doesnt include Salford doesnt mean it isnt in Salford does it, and as I said, dont quote me on that.
It's just pedantry.
Yes united has lots of southern fans, but also has the lions share of manchester fans, be that in the city in GMR or in the rest of cheshire (ouside GMR).
The truth is any successfull team gets fans from other parts of the country. Liverpool included!
Look at the black lad who was killed in Liverpool, He was an Arsenal fan!

I used to support Chelsea when Osgood was playing there.
I can remember when it was the likes of Man Utd, Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal splashing the money around. Chelsea were broke, and couldn't compete with them.
It's a bit different today though, isn't it. What goes around comes around. Chelsea just need to make the most of it while it lasts.

But harp on about buying trophies, Mafia connections etc...Do you know anything about Italian Football?? and those clubs are considered "Big boys"!
It's been going on over there for decades!!And they had the "Best players".
I realise when the only Team in England (Yes that's in the UK as well)was Manure Utd that all was fair!!. But then there was Wengers Arsenal (France in disguise) At least 2 teams going for the best players was better than 1, and it made the League more interesting. Now we have Chelsea, and boy, now the big 2 have someone else to fight with aren't they bloody jeolous?
I have been supporting Chelsea for a long time, and a full Member for more than 10 years, and will continue even if they drop out of the premiership.
As an aside, all this stone throwing by so called footy fans is bull. "My Dad's better than your Dad"! Money and Football are hand in hand in the Premiership, that's why it changed from the old First Division. All the clubs are involved. If you want to see REAL Football go and watch the Conference teams, It's supprising how many "has beens" that are still playing, and very well at that. The passion is incredible, full blooded tackling, and only a couple of quid to get in.........................
2 things:
1/ I don't have any trouble with Chelski, I'd rather have them then Arsehole any day of the week. They do have a commitment to buying English players.
2/ I agree non league football is in many cases where the REAL football fans are to be found.

You clearly dont understand Mancs. it is not when it suits, we have to say we are from or near Manchester as you Southerners and the foreigners have no clue where our real Cities are.
You cocked up with your list and just dont have the balls to admit it, you are too stupid to back down and are going to front it out to the end. *cou"arsehole"gh*

These arguments are really funny, Manchester is GM when it suits and just the city when it doesn't
Nobody makes any comments when during Liverpools european shambles this week a tannoy announcer has a message for a man from Brighton! or when 2 of the 3 groups of fans interviewed at the end have London accents!
