    300 was pretty decent in HD as you've seen, aside from that I thought Bourne Ultimatum, Spiderman 3, Blood Diamond, Die Hard 4, The Golden Compass and Pathfinder were pretty good on BluRay. Although the latter for the cinematography rather than the story.

    Tesco DVD Rental (aka LoveFilm) is pretty good for Blu Ray titles as well.

    If you're into Lost, 24, Heroes, Prison Break, Battlestar Gallactica, etc. then they look great on Sky HD.

    as the title suggests i'm looking for suggestions on Bluray investments to make the most of my shiny new HDTV..

    have already seen

    '300' (g'friend chef: "very bloody")
    and
    'I am Legend' (g'friend chef: "nice details on the dog's coat")

    now im looking for something else to make g'friend chef agree the tv was worth the investment..
