Muppets. The government's official statistics on property sales in the UK have been withdrawn from publication because they appear to be wrong.
In fact, now when I read a HMRC-related story, the theme to The Muppet Show plays in my head:
It's the Muppet Show with our Very Special Guest Star, Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs!!!
It's time to play the music
It's time to light the lights
It's time to meet the Muppets on the Muppet Show tonight.
It's time to put on makeup
It's time to dress up right
It's time to raise the curtain on the Muppet Show tonight.
Why do we always come here
I guess we'll never know
It's like a kind of torture
To have to watch the show
And now let's get things started
Why don't you get things started
It's time to get things started
On the most sensational inspirational celebrational Muppetational
This is what we call the Muppet Show!
(Gonzo blows his trumpet)

What house price crash? It seems that HMC&R have been publishing bum statistics. Back to normal next week then!

ok they probably know more than me on the subject but considering the house crash is fully influenced by the economy how can they predict that it will be back to normal by 2012? are they economists/fortune tellers/or estate agents

*SPAM ALERT*
Can we have less of this kind of positive talk around here. It lowers the tone.
