I’m thinking about quitting my job here in the UK – currently product manager at a mobile telco. My plan is to go travelling for a number of months / years and see what work I can pick up en route. Current faves are Australia, Canada and the US. Does anyone have experience contracting in these countries? How did you get on with visas, etc. Canada and Oz seem straight forward, but it sounds like it’s going to be a bitch to get into the US. Any advice from anyone?
