No, mine is all in one. I am betting that it will outlast the cost of a service contract and extended warranty period. If it does then it is a throw away item when it goes wrong. It will be more expensive to repair than to replace.

What DP said. I bought a £19.99 HP printer last week and the print quality is as good as the £299.99 Epson it's replacing. It probably won't last as long but at £19.99 who cares?
