I think it is something to do with them being conscripts. They are required to serve so the least they can do is try to get their remains back.

The Israelis have always followed this line. sort of 'One of us is worth ten of you'

Hostage Swap
Hezbollah get 5 live prisoners back plus the remains of 200 or so dead palestinians.
Israel get 2 dead soldiers back (and can't tell for definate until they do some testing that the bodies are who they are supposed to be).
Can't help feeling that Hezbollah had the stronger negotiating team out that day.Tags: None
