From one modeller (well part of the skillset anyhow + control eng/ model based diagnostics, etc) to another congrats on the contract rate.

It's nice to know. I am only being offeed £25/hr currently. I think the agent is mistaking me for a whore and trying to .........

At five days a week =£5500

*26 weeks (who need hols at that rate) = £143,000.

    Fantastic.

I'm sure you have already worked this out though.

What, did you invent your own math model, patent it, and now sell the concept to businesses to show them something they can't see unless they pay the ransom?

Yes it is, don't need everyone jumping on the bandwagon.

I don't play with SPSS, my models represent actual working systems to determine.... nuff said.

Mathematical modeller is a broad term. I create statistical models, if only it payed that well.

Well done. I'd hold out for more though as you should never accept the first offer.

It's on my to do list... practically everyone I know has been effected by it. Only a matter of time before I'm hit with it.

Not only that but my old client came back to establish a maintenance contract for work done. How can yesterday's income be £0 and tomorrow's £crazy?
